... Scenario Sophie was driving her car when it staled at traffic lights. Edward was in the car behind Sophie, and got out of his car shouting at Sophie, who then opened her car door. Edward then dragged her out of her car and onto the ground. He kicked her in the ribs, causing a fracture and severe bruising. Despite best advice, she did not go to the hospital. Two days later Sophie was rushed to hospital with a collapsed lung, which had to be removed. Question Criminal Liability is based on the concept of Actus Reus including Causation and Mens Rea.
