Sale of Goods Act Brunei has just enacted a Sale of Goods Act in 1994. It is defined as an Act to make further and better provision for the law relating to the sale of goods and for matters connected therewith; commenced on May 3rd 1994. Since it has just been enacted, we can still make reference to it from time to time. For example section 14(1), in a contract of sale, other than one to which subsection (5) applies, there is an implied condition on the part of the seller that in the case of a sale he has a right to sell the goods, and in the case of an agreement to sell he will have such a right when the property is to pass.
