The Law of Offer and Acceptance Advise A on the courses of action he can take over the sale of B's Morris Minor In order to advise A, we must first look at the law relating to Offer and Acceptance. To determine what course of action to advise A to take, we have to determine whether or not an agreement has been reached i.e. whether one party has made an offer which the other party has accepted. It is unclear exactly how A heard about B's Morris Minor for sale, but however he found out we will treat it that B gave an invitation to treat (an invitation to start negotiation). The information is most likely to have come to A's attention in one of three forms: an advertisement, Partridge v Crittenden; an exhibition of goods for sale, Fisher v Bell; or by word of mouth.
