He almost single-handedly changed the way Christianity viewed the world. Luther affected the way that the institution of the church carried out its function. He also developed new ideas about God, man's relationship with God and the means to achieve/receive salvation. The form and arrangement of public worship (Liturgies) were also influenced by Luther; this influence also had an impact upon the individual.
