Is Buddhism a Religion? If you were to become a Buddhist, would you become a member of a religion? In this assignment I am going to write about three things. I am going to compare Buddhism as a religion, to other religions such as Islam and Christianity. I will show you how Buddhism does share many similar features to other religions such as the fact that they have a Founder, sacred Scriptures, and they also has special festivals and holy days. Then I am going to write about the differences between Buddhism and other religions and debate whether or not it is a religion.
