God, Moral Right and Free Will The argument in its most basic form asserts the following: 1. Heaven is a form of moral reward 2. God is supposed to be omniscient 3. If God knows what we do before we do it, then we do not do it freely 4. God has no moral right to reward us for our actions ----------------------------------------- Therefore, if God exists then there is no heaven. The real support of this argument lies in the last three premises. According to the definition of the term omniscience set by theism, God has an absolute (past, present, future and unknown) knowledge of all matters. Omniscience in concurrence with the assertion that God attributed free will to man presents a contradiction.
