Religions of the world have sought to answer this imperative question through the use of various historical writings. However, to this day, the true story of creation is a great mystery for everyone. Two such pieces of historical literature that seek to answer this question are the Hindu Vedic Hymn of Creation and the Jewish story of Genesis. The creation stories of Genesis 1:1-2:4a in Judaism and the Vedic Hymn of Creation in Hinduism are quite interesting to compare due to the similarities and differences that they encompass.
