Does a revolution require a violent mob or is it simply a declaration of independence? Literally, revolution means a fast change, which begs the question. "How fast is fast"? Some political revolutions have lasted for years and even decades, while others have occurred in the span of days. The most effective way to define a political revolution is to look at examples.
