WAS THE GREEK TIMES A PERIOD OF MEDICAL PROGRESS? In some ways the Greek times is a period of progress in medicine, but in other ways there were things that led to no progression. However, there were ideas and theories that are in some ways led to progression but were incorrect, an example is the theory of the four humours. There are a lot of things that the Greeks did that may have been or not been progress, or even both. These thing will have to be look at determine if the Greek times is a period of medical progress. The start of faster progression was probably when Greek thinkers started to try find the true natural cause of diseases and treatments rather than saying that the gods caused it and can heal it with their powers.
