What our users think of the Historical and Philosophical studies essays in this section:
"Lacked critical thought and accompanying evidence"
MCrosbie
"Very well researched, this essay gives an informative insight into the early Islamic expansions in the Middle East. The focus upon Mohammed as a person is a slight downside; there needs to be more focus upon the Qur'an, Islamic belief, and the early expansions themselves. This is an excellent essay besides those points, but a more focussed approach to the question could make it even better!

"The content in this essay is very good, well sourced information. There appears to be a slight neglect of American Jewry however, and where holocaust theology actually began (the US itself, not Europe!). An approach between American Jewry and European Jewry would have provided a better perspective on Zionism through holocaust theology. However, the essay as is is very good. The introduction is poor, it does not explain anything, essentially repeats the question, and does not provide aims or methods of the essay.

"Very concise, yet well written. This essay sets out the approach to religion using the modern "scientific" method. The structure is good; whilst the introduction could be improved, the main body is excellent.
