What Makes a Good Wheelbarrow? Aim: I am going to investigate what makes a good wheelbarrow by substituting the wheelbarrow for a metre rule and some 10g weights. Levers There are three types of different levers. There are: Type 1: These levers have the fulcrum between the moving force (effort) and the load. Type 2: The load is between the fulcrum and the moving force. These levers act as force magnifiers. Type 3: The moving force (effort) is between the load and the fulcrum. These levers act as distance magnifiers. A person using a fishing rod can draw in the line for long distances using small movements of the arm.
