National Strategies Application and Analysis The aims of this essay are to consider the history of the national curriculum and assess the current position with regard to national strategies. The impact of the current initiatives on teaching and learning at key stage 3 will be evaluated with emphasis on incorporation into lesson planning. The present study will include primary data obtained from teaching practice at a mixed 11-16 comprehensive school and secondary data from various reference sources.
