'What exactly are you expecting from this school and what would you change?' I arrived at a peculiarly shaped building which buzzed with the sound of pupils in lessons, tapping pens on the desks, humming, singing, scraping chairs and arguing with the teachers, a distinctive sound that I clearly recognised from the school I had previously been at, a sound I had hoped to escape from and put behind me having come to a Grammar School. I manoeuvred the car into a small gate way that lead into the school grounds, I followed the road around the building until entering a play ground situated in the centre of the school. I couldn't help but notice and cringe at the state of the mobile classrooms which looked a disgrace. However I wasn't prepared to let my perceptions of the school be based on first appearances.
