Persuasive Speech: "The so called 'New Legislations' at Rokeby School are not contributing to greater academic achievement, however, they are penalising students". An immense amount of pupils at Rokeby School, 548 to be precise, made uproar when they witnessed the new rules. "For rules that are enjoyable, thrilling and breathtaking, there is nowhere quite like Rokeby school" This is what the new head teacher said to us when he first propagated the rules. What's so enjoyable about 45 minutes of lunchtime? What's so thrilling about bearing the same uniform day after day? What's so breathtaking about going to school 30 minutes earlier than usual?
