Coach Carter: Achieving Goals and Dreams There are many sport-themed movies created each year. These movies vary from the importance of baseball, power to teamwork, and how perseverance can help a man and horse win the race. Yet, Coach Carter was a basketball movie that emphasizes not only on the game of basketball but the importance of being a scholar athlete and going to college. Maybe because I am an educator and that is why emphasis on school first, and then extracurricular is so important to me. I feel that getting a good education is the key to everyone who wants a good future. Education will help you get a job; therefore earn money to support your family and leisure activities.
