Write an account of appropriate teaching activities for a specified age group for a concept linked to a skill for Geography, History and R.E. The activities that will be discussed in this assignment are focused on children in Key Stage 1, from a Year 2 class. It is important that children are given every opportunity to develop appropriate skills related to specific subjects, in order for them to develop their understanding of certain concepts. Taking this into account, I have linked a skill to a concept in order to promote children's learning. Change is an important concept within the History subject, and linking this to the skill of questioning will develop children's ability to become 'historical detectives'.
