Over the past years, there has been considerable discussion about how best to educate students in regard to SRE, and there are many views on the subject. This topic is of great importance, because students continually fail to put into practice what they know or rather what they have no knowledge of therefore we are seeing a rise in problems in relation to students sexual health and teenage pregnancies. In addition, we spend a £500 million a year in reactive sexual health medicine, a massive sum (Allard,2007). With the attention, importance, and money we dedicate to education, it is ironic that we have generally failed to deliver some very simple instructions about sexual health especially contraception.This curriculum has been developed due to requests from a 'Special School' that works with young people up to the age of 18 had requested help around their SRE programme.
