A. Students who are gifted (sometimes called gifted and talented) show exceptional achievement or promise in one or more of the following areas: general intellectual ability, aptitude in a specific academic field, creativity, visual or performing arts, and leadership. Although students who are gifted tend to be quite different form one another in terms of their unique strengths and talents, they often have characteristics such as these: large vocabulary, extensive knowledge
