The advantages and disadvantages to both types of business will be expressed, showing how they can and cannot provide the best quality service for its customers. The marketing activities, which they carry out in an attempt to gain comparative advantage, will also be analysed. Conrad Hilton purchased his first hotel in Cisco, Texas back in 1919. The first hotel to carry the Hilton name was built in Dallas in 1925.
