Task 1 Introduction For this task I am going to look at a range of conferences and exhibitions and discuss their purpose. The range of conferences and exhibitions I am going to look at are: * Trade fairs * Educational fairs * Product launches * Public awareness raising * Academic conferences * Global issues * International conferences and exhibitions * Banqueting * Corporate hospitality * Incentive travel * Hallmark events In this task I will describe the differences and similarities between the conferences and exhibitions (listed above), in terms of client needs, expectations, style of event and the nature of marketing.
