Marketing a Business Destination Marketing a business destination is a complex procedure due to the very dynamic economic environment of today. In order to properly apply practical facts and examples, the city of Sao Paulo has been chosen as the topic for this paper discussion. Sao Paulo is Brazil's industry metropolis and South America's leading service centre. Almost 50% of the Brazilian gross national product is obtained in Sao Paulo. One quarter of all Brazilian companies have their head offices in Sao Paulo, and 60% of the total consumption in the country slips on Sao Paulo. Today more than 19 million inhabitants make Sao Paulo the third largest city of the world. The urban area stretches westward over 80 kilometres of east, and 40 kilometres of north southward.
