Unit 2 Customer Service in Travel and Tourism Introduction In my coursework I am going to study the customer service within the organisation Alton Towers Theme Park. Alton Towers is situated 42 miles from Manchester. By Car: travelling north M1 Motorway Junction 23A, M6 Junction 15. Travelling south M1 Junction 28, M6 Junction 16. By Rail the Intercity service offers inclusive travel-entry tickets from London Euston and many other parts of the country, with bus transfers from Stoke-on-Trent station to Alton. Alton Towers is considered by many to be the United Kingdom's finest theme park. Here there is something for everyone - from 'white knuckle' rides such as 'Oblivion' and 'Nemesis'. Those that are after something a little more sedate can enjoy the gardens, row on the lake or take a cable car ride.
