CAD & CAM Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture must definitely be used in the batch production of my food product. CAD and CAM play an essential role in the making and designing of any food product as they ensure accuracy and speed. CAD will be used to design the layout, information and design of my food packaging. I will use CAD to create the precise dimensions of my food packaging, these dimension will be calculated in relation with the inner packaging. I will use computers to set a degree of accuracy, this is likely to be about 0.01cm, all the dimensions that are created will be 0.02cm either side of the proposed dimension.
