Virgin Mobile. Simon Kent - 999201169 Introduction? As a group we decided to concentrate on one of the newest brands of the Virgin Corporation, Virgin Mobiles. Within the project we will be covering the aspects outlined in the course booklet and we will be using relevant theories and issues to relate them to Virgin Mobiles. Week 5 Virgin Mobile first began operation in 1999 when they joined forces with Deutsche Telekoms One2One. Within a year the brand had approaching half a million customers and this is when the decision was made for the brand to go global (Virgin mobile website - www.virginmobile.com). In the following essay I will be looking at the brand decisions made by Virgin mobile. Aspects to be discussed include standardisation v adaption and branding, but first of all Product/global brand decisions of Virgin Mobile.
