Becel margarine had a very well organized advertising strategy, which gave the company the largest dollar and volume share of the Canadian margarine market. The dollar share has grown from 17.7% to more than 30%, since 1992. However this growth in sales is declining. To solve this problem, Becel has to come up with a strategy that would shape the future success of Becel margarine and maintain its share leadership and growth momentum. Conduct a SWOT analysis of the situation facing the decision-maker in this case. SWOT Analysis is a very effective way of identifying a firm's Strengths and Weaknesses, and of examining the Opportunities and Threats it faces.
