PTTVIV001 Vivek Pattundeen Richard Dawkins' article is slightly controversial, although he seems very confident in his primary claims and points mainly concerning religion. This is understandable and acceptable as the September 11th attacks on New York were brought about on religious grounds as claimed by the attackers, who are Muslim militants. I believe the article and its main points are justifiable to an extent, until certain factors come into play, which discredit Dawkins' argument. It is these factors I should like to explore further to give reason to my disagreement with the writer. First we need to establish Dawkins' primary claim, this being that religion is a method of indoctrination that is a "weapon," as he refers to it, and should not be subscribed to, or at least those of the "Abrahamic kind," which I assume are...
