The oxford dictionary explains that marketing is learning about consumers and competitors, to provide the right products at the right price, in the right location, and promoting it appropriately to be more successful. And the definition of the marketing mix is a checklist that focuses on the various elements of marketing needed to carry out the marketing strategy. The marketing mix is mainly made up of four factors:- * Product * Price * Promotion * Place And they are known as the 4P's. They are elements in the marketer's armoury and are aspects that can be manipulated to keep ahead of the competition.
