This marketing strategy must be evaluated and recommendations made as to any improvements that can be made. 2.0 Introduction The organisation being researched is Oxfam. Taking one specific part of the organisation thorough research will be done in order to evaluate its marketing strategy. One campaign Oxfam is currently promoting is the Poverty in the UK programme. "Nearly 13 million people live in poverty" Department for work and pensions, Households below average income 200/2001. The main activities of this campaign are to "raise awareness of its concerns by undertaking research into the causes and relief of poverty; providing resources for the general public and those in formal education; and by publicising its activities."
