Foreword This report aims to develop an understanding of operational concepts within the Body Shop operations. These concepts should serve as a benchmark against operation's current performance or target, by establishing the ideals of each concept, thereafter the ideals are weighed against the Body Shop approaches. The application is designed to illuminate on the weaknesses of the concepts within the Body Shop operations, following this, are recommendations. The recommendations should serve as guide to improving the Body Shop total operating system. Currently, in 51 countries with over 2000 stores generating annual retail sales of £697m.
