To initially read, Somerbury appears to be in a bit of an administrative nightmare. The first thing I had to question was the overall Management of Somerbury. What was actually being sold and to what segment specifically? Did the customers of this company still trust them? How does IT fit within this lack of strategy? How could IT support this product/s? Did the company use BCG and Ansoff Models to help place products into sections of the market growth area? New product research and design should possibly feature more, and could the company benefit from a little internal marketing? Finally, Research Methods and the importance of Comparative research could help in this case also.
