Marketing Every product or service needs a market, and so it is essential that we know what a market really is. A market is where buyers and sellers come together to exchange products (goods and services) for money. The term 'market' does not necessarily mean buying products face to face, for instance it may include buying products over the phone, on the Internet, in a shop or even through mail order catalogues. In order to have market buyers and sellers need to come together in some way to exchange products for money, for instance through many different shops. A product oriented business is drove at producing a produced first, then a finding its market. Businesses rarely use this type of marketing. Companies that use the type of marketing, usually make basic products needed for life. In some cases though a product must be made first before a person realises that they need it....
