This industry is divided into three segments: * Scooters * Motorcycles * Mopeds The two wheeler market has changed over the last four decades, with liberalization and foreign investments, changing the market. Further, the sale across the three segments has changed, with motorcycles replacing scooters in sales and holding 80% of the market share. The three main motorcycle manufacturers are Hero Honda, Bajaj Auto and TVS motors. Based on the price and engine capacity, the motorcycle segment can be further divided into the following: Entry Segment Rs. 30000 to 40000 100 cc Deluxe Segment Rs. 40000 to 50000 125 to 150 cc Premium Segment Rs. 50000 to 65000 150cc and above Super Premium Rs. 80000 and above 200 cc and above Each segment has its own market environment and buyers.
