E&E SECTOR ANALYSIS The investment that Denon will make in Malaysia falls under the category of Electrical and Electronics (E&E). Sales of the E&E sector total up to a massive 43.5% of all manufactured product sales. The manufacturing sector is an essential component of the total Malaysian GDP with around 31.5% in 2005. Furthermore, the manufacturing sector accounts for about 77.4% of total exports. Export of manufactured E&E products contribute around 64.1% of total manufactured exports, the largest contributor to the sector. This was a record increase of 9.6% since 2004. The E&E export sector showed an increase of 7.2% from RM 5.7 billion in 2004 to RM 59.7 billion in 2005. Malaysia's export performance has also been exceptional.
