I. Decision Situation Pfizer's Animal Health Products Group could face very soon a decline in animal health product sales and especially in their cow/calf division. Currently, Pfizer has high quality animal health products at premium prices and offers cattle ranchers a diverse product line as well as superior customer service by having technical specialists on hand for the ranchers. However, Pfizer is only selling their products to local veterinarians, distributors and dealers. The ranchers cannot buy it directly and therefore veterinarians or distributors play an important role for ranchers as they have high trust in them.
