Introduction In this essay I have explored the effects of the internal and external environments on the public sector, I have given a detailed explanation of the main differences between the public and private sectors and their funding, and monopoly provisions their values and accountability. I have also discussed the organisational culture and the external environment. They are not accountable to the public as long as they stay within the law they are only accountable to themselves. They will compete with other companies for consumers.
