Workaholism We often complain that we are too busy. A recent survey shows that the number of hours we devote to our work constantly increases while the number of our leisure hours decreases. We often complain that we are too busy. A recent survey shows that the number of hours we devote to our work constantly increases while the number of our leisure hours decreases. Therefore we try to do everything to save a little time for ourselves. We do all the shopping once a week, we buy products that begin with words 'Quick' or 'Instant', we never go to work without a walkaman or book so that the travel time is not 'wasted'. If we finally decide to have a break, we usually squeeze a variety of pleasures into one special weekend. Being overbusy is considered so natural nowadays, that we even feel anxious if we have any time...
