It encompasses methods and techniques, which enable managers and supervisors to understand, develop and implement effective management processes and systems within an organization to focus on quality and customer service while increasing productivity and decreasing costs. By implementing such management method, it can create organizations where people at all levels think for themselves and manage their own work. Also, it can result in higher quality product that are internationally competitive. Such involvement would help each employee feel the ownership of the company, therefore it is likely that they would genuinely care for the organization's future as if it was one of their own.
