From the information I have read about Llyod George, I would define him as being a mix between an autocratic and democratic leader. It is quite clear to me that he did not use a laissez-faire approach as he certainly did not leave his party

CONCISE SUMMARY: David Llyod George was born on 17th of January n Chortlon-upon-Medlock, Manchester. He was the eldest son and second eldest of four children. He was married twice, and had two sons and four daughters. He first entered Parliament aged nearly 56, on the 10th of April 1890 and made his first speech on the 13th of June 1890; in favour of temperance reform. In total he spent five years, 317 days as an MP. Llyod George died on the 26th of March 1945 in Wales. He has been described by many to be, one of the twentieth century's most-famous radicals. Although born in Manchester he was the first and only person of Welsh decent to hold the office of PM.
