The article written by (Jackson et. al., 2003) demonstrates the use of an observational method that has been conducted to study the effect of email interruptions on employees at the Danwood Group in the UK. The main aim of the project is to try and reduce the negative impact email has on employees and to reduce the amount of time staff waste whilst using it. The experiment was conducted on only 15 employees from a company as large as 500 from all levels of the hierarchy. I believe that it is not fair on the 15 employees that got selected at random to participate in this study; thus not all participants have participated in this experiment.
