Introduction/Background As a BA Hons Business Studies student part of my course involved a one year work placement, this I spent at InterTradeIreland in Newry. Here I worked along with another colleague as a Research Assistant to the Policy Research Manager, it involved assisting with any of the current projects being carried out by InterTradeIreland. InterTradeIreland is a cross-border Trade and Business Development Body, which was established under the international agreement between the governments of Ireland and the United Kingdom signed on Good Friday 1998 and commonly known as the Belfast agreement.
