Introduction In this assignment, I have chosen to study Ventura Litho Ltd., a high quality print firm, and discover whether their employers and employees are motivated and associate them with Hertzberg's Theories X and Y and Maslow's hierarchy of needs. I intend to carry out this question by researching the firm and sending questionnaires to both the management and the employees of the firm. Motivation is defined in the dictionary as "what impels a person to action e.g.. Ambition and love". But I believe that motivation in the workplace is the thing that encourages a person to work, and to achieve their targets whilst obtaining job satisfaction.
