Many Japanese companies are well known for their outstanding performance and productivity, such as Panasonic and Sony, and etc. The success, which Japanese have obtained, has caused great interests among many Western experts. Subsequently, the term :Japanization; has been coined to describe :Japanese-style management;. During 1990s, Japan has been always suffering the severe economic recession. Refer to appendix I, the Japanese unemployment exceeds the UK・s. Today, Japan・s management has been criticised for its centralised, inflexibility administration (Whitehill, A. 1992). There is no such a management style can last forever. The historic and culture roots of Japan have significant implications to the growth of this management style.
