Agnieszka Klich Assuming that from time to time illegal aliens who have been in the U.S. for a lengthy period of time (usually 2 to 5 years) are "grandfathered" and allowed to stay in the U.S. legally, what are the ethical, and separately, the legal, limitations or restrictions on hiring illegal immigrants, and how are those limitations or restrictions determined? United States of America was founded on the theory of open doors, welcoming all races and nationalities. Over two hundred years later the reality is quite different, as foreign nationals entering the United States are highly screened and work authorization is often difficult to obtain. This gives rise to many illegal immigrants working in the United States at low wages who are not paying taxes and who are receiving public services. Availability of illegal jobs is the main reason why there is 800,000 new immigrants crossing American borders...
