The leisure sailing industry is in a growing industry. Due to its popularity its customer base is constantly increasing regardless of the boat class we are talking about or even regardless of the purpose, whether the customer is racing or only cruising with the boat. In my belief we can break down the market in to 3 segments. First, with the most boats produced mass production companies, such as the french Beneteau, Jeanneau or the german Bavaria-Yachts and maybe even the slovenian Elan. Second category is, the smaller, not so global companies such as Hunter and us (Port Marine) among others.
