An Overview of An Applied Study Period By: A.M. Deverell-Smith Moreton Morrell College is argued to be the World's greatest centre for equine studies and is based in the heart of Warwickshire countryside. The building itself is quite spectacular, Built at the turn of the century hence Georgian in architectural design, the building fails to impress few of its' visitors. The tasks assigned to me by the Director of Finance were both varied and challenging. The main reason for my application to work within the finance department was quite simple. Clearly a centre for education cannot be deemed to be within the leisure industry...yet many would be inclined to argue when considering the amount of leisure time the students have at their disposal! It seemed reasonable to argue that the financial department of the college would be subject to similar, if not identical, administration as any other organisation within the public sector....
