A reflective essay of what I knew when beginning the course, and what I now know on completion and how this affects my future. When enrolling for PDE 3650 I had an interest in setting up my own business, to be called Leisure Lettings. In order to prepare for class, I had collected and reviewed a Business Start-up booklet from HSBC bank, reviewed www.bcentral.co.uk1, and two business textbooks from the library2. Monday 21st July brought about an interactive discussion with other people wanting to do the same thing, with different ideas, but not really sure how to apply them, and mostly in the same boat as me.
