It shares its borders with its bigger neighbor, Russia in the north and many other smaller countries in the south. In terms of landmass, China is the second largest country in Asia next to Russia and the third largest in the world after Russia and Canada. It is roughly equivalent in size to the United States. China has a population of 1.2 billion which makes up about 22% of the world population. This means roughly about one in ten people on the globe is a Chinese. This places China as the world's number one most populous nation with India a close second. The city of Beijing in north China is the political capital and it is here...
