Nowadays, cement industry faces many challenges as they try to bring into being the maximum quality product with the greatest efficiency. Annual global production of concrete stays close to around 5 billion cubic yards,a volume approximated by yearly cement production levels of about 1.25 billion tons. Cement consumption is extremely dependent on activities in the construction sector which are in rank dependent on governmental and private investment in infrastructure and buildings. In 1972 the cement industry was nationalized and State Cement Corporation of Pakistan was instituted in respect to Economic Reforms Order.
