Question 1 Bathroom LTD after lengthy negotiations managed to obtain a cheaper price for the bathroom suites than the advertised £200. Unfortunately the order for the cheaper price of £15,000 for 100 silver bathroom sets did not proceed as WC Bogs had agreed to sell the goods to someone else. I will look at Bathrooms Ltd position and see if they are still entitled to the goods and the discounted price. A contract is composed of two elements, these being offer and acceptance.. There must be an offer from one party and acceptance from the other for an agreement to exist between the two. In law advertisements are considered an invitation to treat. In other words they are inviting people to make an offer for the goods. For a bilateral contract to exist the offer has to be accepted. Otherwise, if it is rejected then no contract exists between the two parties....
