Shedding the blood of an animal for sport is the legal version of killing a human being. Likewise, killing an animal for the purpose of scientific research is the legal version of killing a human for the same reasons. "When a man wants to murder a tiger, it is called sport; when the tiger wants to murder him it is called ferocity". Research is ongoing around the world in numerous laboratories and institutions involving animals as a substitute for a human being.
